    • Technician Apprentice (Mechanical) – 3 years regular full time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institute/University.
    • Technician Apprentice (Electrical) – 3 years regular full time Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Institute/University..
    • Technician Apprentice (Instrumentation) – 3 years regular full time Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized Institute/University.
    • Technician Apprentice (Civil) – 3 years regular full time Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute/University
    • Technician Apprentice (Electrical & Electronics) – 3 years regular full time Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized Institute/University.
    • Technician Apprentice (Electronics) – 3 years regular full time Diploma in Electronics Engineering from a recognized Institute/University
    • Trade Apprentice (Fitter) – Matric (10th pass) with regular full time 2 years ITI(Fitter) course recognized by NCVT/SCVT.
    • Trade Apprentice (Electrician) – Matric (10th pass) with regular full time 2 years ITI (Electrician) course recognized by NCVT/SCVT.
    • Trade Apprentice (Electronics Mechanic) – Matric (10th pass) with regular full time 2 years ITI (Electronics Mechanic) course recognized by NCVT/SCVT
    • Trade Apprentice (Instrument Mechanic) – Matric (10th pass) with regular full time 2 years ITI (Instrument Mechanic) course recognized by NCVT/SCVT
    • Trade Apprentice (Machinist) – Matric (10th pass) with regular full time 2 years ITI (Machinist) course recognized by NCVT/SCVT
    • Graduate Apprentice (BA/B. Com/B.Sc/BBA.) – Regular full time Graduate in any discipline from a recognized Institute/University.
    • Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator (Fresher) –Class 12th (but below graduate) from a recognized Institute/Board.
    • Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator (Skilled Certificate Holders) – Class 12th (but below graduate). Additionally should possess Skill Certificate of ‘Domestic Data Entry Operator’ for training of less than a year issued by an awarding body recognized under National Skill Qualifications Framework or any other authority recognized by the Central Government.

    Age Limit for IOCL Recruitment Apprentice 2026:

    • Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 31.12.2025

    Age Relaxation – IOCL 2026:

    • Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe – 5 years
    • Other Backward Classes (Non-creamy layer) – 3 years
    • Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) – 10 Years
    • Persons affected by 1984 riots – 5 years
    • Widows, divorced women and women legally separated from their husbands who have not remarried – Upto 35 years for General/EWS, 38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST candidates
