IRDAI Recruitment 2024 salary

IRDAI Assistant Manager Salary ranges from Rs. 44,500 to Rs. 89,150/- per month. The wage package includes a basic monthly salary of Rs. 44,500, as well as a dearness allowance (DA), housing rent allowance (HRA), and other benefits. The DA is updated quarterly depending on the Consumer Price Index (CPI), and it is currently at 17 percent.The IRDAI Assistant Manager’s gross monthly salary is Rs. 1,46,000/-.

Selection Process of IRDAI Recruitment:

The IRDAI Recruitment 2024 Selection Process includes the following stages-

  • Prelims Written Exam: Objective-based Online Exam (160 Marks)- Qualifying paper
  • Main Written Exam: Descriptive-based Online Exam (300 Marks)
  • Interview
  • Document Verification
  • Medical Examination

Phase I – On-line Preliminary Examination:

  • There will be four tests of objective type as follows:

  • Total time is a Composite time of 90 minutes

  • There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective Tests. 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer

Phase II – Descriptive Examination:

  • Candidates must appear for all three papers in Phase II – Descriptive Examination.
  • A separate call letter will be issued.
  • The time-table for Phase II – Descriptive Examination will be intimated to the candidates concerned along with Call Letter for Phase II.
  • The Phase II – Descriptive Examination will consist of three papers as under:

Phase III – Interview:

  • Candidates shortlisted in Phase II – Descriptive Examination only will subsequently be called for an Interview.
  • IRDAI shall notify the exact venue, address, time and date of the interview later on IRDAI’s website, and the shortlisted candidates for the Interview shall download their Call Letters from the IRDAI website as per the schedule to be announced.

Application Fee: 

  • SC / ST / PwBD: Rs.100/- Intimation charges
  • Other than SC/ST/PwBD: Rs.750/- Examination fee and Intimation charges
  • The candidate shall bear Bank transaction charges for Online payment of application fees/intimation charges.
