S&P Global Off Campus Responsibilities:
- Onboarding and implementation of clients onto the Hosting platform.
- Project management of Cloud projects such as migration of technologies, upgrades, and patching for vulnerabilities.
- Operational support of client installation of Wall Street Office in the AWS public cloud.
- Oversee the team’s work queues to ensure SLAs are met.
- Administrate, automate, monitor, and support Wall Street Office applications in the AWS Cloud.
- Build and deploy application and infrastructure as code.
- Design and test build scripts to automate standard workflows within the application and infrastructure stacks
- Assist in the development of processes and practices as it relates to the migration of workloads to AWS.
- Automate standards operational practices and processes as needed.
- Help in identifying and documenting application and infrastructure enhancements to improve overall performance and client experiences.
- Help in designing and testing operational integrity of the client environments.
- Respond to operational incidents and address/correct issues found to restore services.
- Document root cause analysis of issues identified and participate in process improvements to prevent additional issues.
- Work with CI and CD tools like Azure DevOps to automate application updates
- Assist in developing and implementing DevOps team best practices
S&P Global Off Campus Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelors degree preferred.
Preferred skill:
- 1 year of Devops or similar infrastructure-based experience
- 1 year of leadership or management experience
- Understanding of Devops practices and ability to work in a strong team
- Experience in MS Windows based infrastructure
- Server administration
- Active Directory administration
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Knowledge of industry best practices around Information Security, Windows Operations and AWS Public Cloud technologies
- Knowledge of AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Strong understanding of scripting tools and technologies; specifically, YAML, PowerShell and JSON
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Strong time and project management skills
- Relevant certifications: AWS, Microsoft
