Responsibilities of a Software Engineer:

  • Create and implement, highly scalable distributed systems to manage firmware package and configuration deployments for millions of cars.
  • Using the IEEE Uptane framework, create an end-to-end secure package delivery system.
  • Collaborate closely with firmware engineers, frontend engineers, and product owners to deliver essential features such as deployment strategies and event-driven notifications
  • Define APIs as foundational building blocks that enable customers to automate their entire deployment workflows
  • Understand vehicle-to-cloud communication patterns and develop efficient solutions to handle complex race conditions
  • Directly interact with consumers to learn about their problems and refine product solutions.

Sibros Off Campus- Eligibility Criteria:

  • 1 – 4 years of working experience as a software engineer.

Required skills:

  • Communication and collaboration skills.
  • Understanding of
    – computer science fundamentals
    – data structures
    – algorithms 
  • Designing and implementing microservices in production-grade. 
  • Willingness to wear multiple hats and adapt to a fast-paced startup environment
  • Proficient in writing at least one programming language in production-grade
    – Java
    – C#
    – Ruby
    – Python
    – Golang
  • Experience in the public cloud and cloud-native technologies. E.g., AWS, GCP, Azure.
  • Experience in developing large-scale deployment/workflow orchestration systems. (bonus)
  • Security, certificate, and encryption, and familiar with update frameworks like TUF or Uptane (bonus).
