Job Description:

Indian Air Force is hiring candidates for the post of Agniveer Vayu.

Eligibility Criteria:

Science Subjects

• Passed 12th/ Intermediate/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English from Education Boards recognised by Central, State and UT recognised Education Boards
  OR
• Passed 3 years Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from Central, State and UT recognised Polytechnic institute.
  OR
• Passed 2 years Vocational Course with non-vocational subject like Physics and Mathematics from Central, State and UT recognised Education Boards.

Other than Science Subjects

• Passed Intermediate / 12th / Equivalent Examination in any stream/ subjects from Central, State and UT recognised Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
  OR
• Passed 2 years Vocational Course from Central, State and UT recognised Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50 marks in English in Vocational Course (or in Intermediate/ Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course).

Age Limit:

• Candidates born between 01 January 2006 and 01 July 2009 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply

Salary:

• 1st Year – ₹30,000/- (plus applicable allowances.)
• 2nd Year – ₹33,000/- (plus  applicable allowances.)
• 3rd Year – ₹36,500/- (plus applicable allowances.)
• 4th Years- ₹40,000/- (plus applicable allowances.)

Application Fees IAF Agniveer Vayu: Rs. 550/- + 18% GST (non-refundable).

Indian Air Force Selection Process :

Phase – I:

• Online Test

Phase –II:

• Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

• Adaptability Test I & II- Objective-type written test

Phase –III:

• Medical Examination
