Job Description:

The Indian Army is hiring candidates for the Agniveer post.

Eligibility Criteria:

Agniveer (General Duty):

• 10th pass/ Matriculation with 45% marks in of five basic subjects and min 33% marks in each of those five subjects. 

Agniveer (Technical):

• 12th pass/ Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks and 40% in each subject.

OR

• 12th pass /Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths & English to include NIOS and ITI course of minimum one year in the required field with NSQF level 4 or above.

OR

• Passed 2 years vocational course with non-vocational subjects viz Physics and Mathematics from the Education Board recognized by Central/State/UT Government with 50% marks

OR

• 10th pass/Matriculation with 50% and minimum 40% in English, Maths, and Science with 02 years of Technical Training from ITI or 2/3years Diploma.

Agniveer Clerk / Store Keeper Technical :

• 12th pass / Intermediate Exam Pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks and minimum 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths/Accounts/Book Keeping in Class XIl is mandatory.

Agniveer Tradesmen (10th Pass):

• Simple 10th pass (scored 33% in five basic subjects).

Agniveer Tradesmen (8th pass):

• Simple 8th pass (scored 33% in five basic subjects).

Age Limit:

• Minimum age limit for Indian Army Agniveer is 17 ½ and maximum 21 years i.e. Candidates born between 01 Jul 2005 to 01 Jul 2009
