Sony Recruitment Job Description:

Sony is hiring candidates for the post of Intern.

Sony Recruitment Job Responsibilities:

• Participate with the research scientists or other team members, and contribute to cutting-edge multilingual Text-to-Speech (TTS) research and development.
• Contribute to implementing modern speech controllable TTS, with a strong focus on Indian languages.
  

Duration:

• The paid internship will be for 6 months starting the first week of March 2026.
• 9:00 to 18:00 (Monday to Friday) full-time.

Sony Recruitment Eligibility Criteria:

• PhD or Master’s degree with hands-on experience in SOTA TTS development models using advanced generative models.

Sony Preferred skill:

• Deep Learning/Machine Learning frameworks:
  – Pytorch
  – TensorFlow
  – scikit-learn.
• Knowledge of the state-of-the-art in controllable Text-to-Speech Models.
• Knowledge of generative models:
  – Diffusion Models
  – VQ-VAE/GANs
  – Flow & LLM based Generative models.
