Job Description:

Zycus is hiring candidates for the post of Trainee – Business Development Executive.

Job Responsibilities:

• Research and identify enterprise companies that match Zycus’s Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and may benefit from its solutions.

• Build targeted prospect lists using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Apollo, and other sales intelligence platforms.

• Use AI tools to personalize outreach and create relevant messages across email, LinkedIn, phone, and other communication channels.

• Generate qualified meetings and opportunities for the sales team.

• Execute multi-touch outbound campaigns across global markets.

• Qualify prospects by understanding their business challenges and procurement transformation initiatives.

• Maintain accurate CRM data and pipeline hygiene.

• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and AI teams to improve prospecting methods, messaging, and outreach strategies.

• Continuously experiment with new prospecting techniques, messaging, and AI workflows.Work toward monthly performance targets, including meetings booked, opportunities generated, and Net New Accounts Added (NAA).

Eligibility Criteria:

• B.E./B.Tech in any engineering discipline
  – Computer Science
  – IT
  – Electronics
  – Mechanical
  – Electrical
  – Other branches

• 0–1 years of experience (fresh graduates can apply)

• Internship, project, or campus experience in Sales, Marketing, SaaS, B2B technology, or any customer-facing activity (Preferred).

Required skill:

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

• Strong curiosity and a genuine willingness to learn enterprise sales.

• High energy, resilience, and a growth mindset.

• Comfortable working with data, technology, and AI tools.

• Hands-on experience with LinkedIn, CRM systems, or prospecting tools.

• Extensive use of Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Microsoft Copilot — bonus if you’ve built bots or automations with GenAI.

• Leadership in college clubs, technical fests, hackathons, or entrepreneurship activities
