The Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has recently announced the recruitment of 2859 Social Security Assistants (SSA) and Stenographers (Group C) for the year 2023. The application form is available on the EPFO’s official website, epfindia.gov.in, and candidates can submit their applications online before the deadline of April 26, 2023.

EPFO SSA Recruitment 2023 Details:

EPFO SSA Recruitment Eligibility Criteria:

Social Security Assistant:

• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university as of the closing date for online registration of application.
• A typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on a computer. (35 words per minute and 30 words per minute correspond to 10500 Key Depression per Hour (KDPH) / 9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word for Data Entry Work. Time allowed – ten minutes.

Stenographer:

• 12th class pass from a recognized Board.
• Skill Test Norms: The candidates who are shortlisted in the Phase-I Examination will be required to appear in the Skill Test for Stenography.
• Dictation: Ten minutes at the rate of 80 words per minute.
• Transcription: 50 minutes ( English ) / 65 minutes ( Hindi ) – Only on the Computer.

Age Limit: The candidate’s age should be between 18 to 27 years as of April 1, 2023. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.

Salary:

• Social Security Assistant: Rs 29,200 – 92,300/-
• Stenographer: Rs 25,500 – 81,100/-

Selection Process of EPFO SSA Recruitment 2023:

• The selection process for EPFO SSA Recruitment 2023 will involve the following stages:
  • Preliminary Exam: The preliminary exam will be conducted online and will consist of objective-type questions. The exam will be of 100 marks and will have a duration of 60 minutes. The questions will be asked from the following sections: English Language, Reasoning Ability, and Numerical Aptitude.
  • Main Exam: The main exam will also be conducted online and will consist of objective-type questions. The exam will be of 200 marks and will have a duration of 150 minutes. The questions will be asked from the following sections: Reasoning
