Job Description:

• Under the Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme, applications are currently invited from unmarried male and female candidates (including Wards of Battle Casualties of Indian Army Personnel) for the grant of a Short Service Commission (Non-Tech). This entry is specific to the 125th Course.

Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme 125 Course- Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification: Graduate Degree from a recognized University. Applicants studying in final year are also allowed to apply provided they complete and obtain Graduation Degree before the commencement of course. For such candidates, the aggregate % scored in the first two/three years of a three/four year degree course respectively will be considered for shortlisting. It is to be noted that possession of a graduate degree is a qualification to apply for the entry and not necessarily a qualification to be shortlisted for SSB. The Indian Army reserves the right to shortlist candidates for SSB by applying vacancy-to-call-up ratio based on various filters, as deemed necessary.
• Service in NCC: Should have served for a minimum of two/three years (as applicable) in Senior Division/Wg of NCC

For Wards of Battle Casualties of Indian Army Personnel

• Degree of a recognized university or equivalent with an aggregate of minimum 50% marks, taking into account marks
• NCC ‘C’ certificate NOT required for Wards of Battle Casualties.

Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme- Selection Process:

The selection process for the Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme (125th Course 2026) does not include a written exam. Shortlisted candidates will go directly through the following stages:

• Shortlisting of Applications
• Allotment of Selection Centre
• Conduct of SSB
• Joining Pre-Commission Training Academy (PCTA)
• Medical Examination

Age Limit:

• The NCC candidates (including wards of Battle Casualties), whose age is from 19 to 25 Years as on 01 Jan 2027, are eligible to apply for Indian Army Recruitment Notification 2026.

• Once you register, click on ‘Apply Online’ under Dashboard; it opens a page name ‘Officers Selection’ – ‘Eligibility’ will open, click ‘Apply’ against Short Service Commission SSC(Tech)(Men and Women) Course, ‘Application Form’ will get open.
• Read all the instructions carefully and click on ‘Continue’ and fill all the details under various segments like Personal information, Communication details
• Then ‘Save & Continue’ before going to the next segment.
• Once you fill all the details on the last segment, you will move to a page ‘Summary of your information ’, where you can check and edit the entries made. After checking all your details, click on ‘Submit Now‘.
