IOCL Career Eligibility Criteria:
- B.Tech./BE /Equivalent as Full-time Regular course from Institutions/ Colleges/ Universities/ Deemed Universities duly recognized by AICTE/UGC with minimum 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD), in Chemical, Electrical, and Instrumentation disciplines.
IOCL Engineer Recruitment 2025 Age Limit
- Candidates applying from the General/EWS category should not be more than 26 years.
- Age Relaxation: Relaxation to candidates applying from other categories shall apply as per Government of India guidelines.
- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years
- PwBD: 10 years (additional)
- Ex-servicemen: As per Government of India rules
IOCL Engineer Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
- The selection process will be based on
- Marks in GATE 2024 examination
- Group Discussion (GD) and Group Task (GT)
- Personal Interview (PI).
- Shortlisting of eligible candidates for further selection process shall comprise of GD, GT and PI, and shortlisting shall be carried out category-wise in descending order of their marks obtained in the GATE 2024 examination for the respective discipline.
- If shortlisted, candidates must bring relevant documents in original for document verifications.
- A merit list shall be prepared only for those candidates who qualify individually.
IOCL Engineer Recruitment 2025 Exam Pattern
The Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted for 150 minutes and will carry 100 marks. The question paper will have objective-type questions with 0.25 negative marking for each wrong answer.
