NPCIL Careers Detailed Eligibility:
- B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engineering) /5-year Integrated M.E/ M.Tech with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Industrial & Fire Safety discipline from University/Deemed University or Institute recognised by AICTE/UGC.
- Discipline acceptable as per prescribed qualification(Industrial & Fire Safety) – Health Safety & Environment/ Fire & Safety Engineering/ Safety & Fire Engineering/ Industrial Safety & Fire/ Fire & Industrial Safety/ Industrial & Fire Safety/ Industrial & Fire Safety Engineering/ Fire & Industrial Safety Engineering/ Industrial Safety Engineering & Fire/ Industrial Safety Engineering/ Fire Technology & Safety.
- Candidates who have done 5 years integrated course leading to M.Tech / M.E. with a minimum of 60% marks in the relevant discipline may also apply subject to fulfilling other laid down criteria.
- Only the above mentioned disciplines will be considered. Courses/Disciplines with equivalence to the above will not be considered.
- Applicants whose final results are awaited and/or are appearing for the final year/semester examination during 2024, but are otherwise eligible, may also apply.
- If selected, they will be required to submit the final result indicating completion of degree and percentage of marks (not less than 60%) on or before 30th November, 2024.
Training:
- The selected candidates will be required to undergo one year of orientation training in any of the NPCIL Training facilities.
- After successful completion of training and subsequently during service in NPCIL, the Executive Trainees (ETs) may be posted at any DAE establishment, any location in India or abroad depending on organizational requirements.

Bond:
Selected candidates are required to execute an agreement, a personal indemnity bond for Rs.6,78,000/- (Rupees Six Lakhs Seventy Eight Thousand Only) and a service bond to serve NPCIL for at least three years after successful completion of training. No third party surety is required. The bond amount comprises 12 months Stipend i.e. Rs.55,000 X 12 plus One Time Book Allowance i.e. Rs.18,000/-.
Selection Process for NPCIL Recruitment 2024:
- Selection process will be done in two stages which are Written/Online/OMR test and Personal Interview
- Final selection will be done based on performance in the Personal Interview
Stage – I: Written/Online/OMR
- Time allotted for test: 120 Minutes
- Number of Questions: 100
- Marking system : 3 marks for each correct answer and 1 negative mark (-1 mark) for each wrong answer. No marks will be allotted to questions that are not attempted.
- Qualifying marks for the test (Out of 300): 100 marks for the UR category, 90 marks for the reserved category (SC/OBC(NCL)/EWS), No post is reserved for ST so they will be considered at par with UR category.
Stage – II: Interview
- Candidates are called for a personal interview based on marks scored in the Written/Online/OMR test marks by applying a ratio of 1:12.
- More than 1 candidate with the same cut-off mark will also be shortlisted for the interview.
- No weightage will be given to written/Online/OMR test marks during the final Selection.
- Total marks for Personal Interview (100 marks) – 70% for the Unreserved Category, 60% for the EWS/SC/OBC (NCL) Category, and No post is reserved for ST so they will be considered at par with UR category
- Candidates are required to bring documents mentioned below during personal interview
