Job Description:
Barclays is hiring candidates for the post of Data Analyst.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyse and document business requirements and translate them into data definitions, models, and related data artefacts.
- Development and maintenance of data dictionaries and glossaries to define data elements and their usage.
- Analyse and monitor data usage patterns to identify opportunities for optimisation, standardisation, and improvement.
- Perform data quality analysis and root-cause investigations.
- Work with stakeholders to improve data quality, consistency, and usability.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree
Preferred Skill:
- Experienced in using AI to improve business processes and support analytics.
- Scripting skills (for example, Python) to support data validation, automation, or analysis.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across HR, HR Technology, business teams, and third-party partners to drive delivery across transformation programmes.
- Implementation of Data Products and enabling the use of data in AI models.
- Knowledge of data and records governance standards and how to apply them in transformation environments
