Job Description:

S&P Global is hiring candidates for the post of Intern.

Job Responsibilities:

• You will be part of a team at the center of the transformation of a Fortune 500 company responsible for data extraction from different Websites.
• As an Intern, you will gain exposure to different applications and tools used for scraping websites, while having frequent interaction with global offices, which would create a symbiotic work culture.
• This position is an excellent stepping stone to understand Data and Website, that will allow you to gain a comprehensive understanding of their working, and enable you to learn facets of data, as well as apply this knowledge to your daily responsibilities
• This position will provide an opportunity to know and interact with various Content Teams and stakeholders and understand S&P products.
• Understanding client requirements and priority. Provide accurate, relevant, and complete solution to the clients
• Building web crawlers using various internal and external tools for extraction and deliver relevant data and information to our internal clients
• Understand the working of the dataset, workflows and have strong knowledge of workflow tools
• Work on projects as an when they come up and ensure that they are completed within the given time span maintaining the desired quality

Eligibility Criteria:

• Graduation – BCA/B Tech from any stream

Preferred skill:

• Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, JS, CSS, and other element identifications.
• Having knowledge of SQL and database is preferred. Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment, while following flexible schedule to meet deadlines
• Good Communication Skills is a must. Flexibility and attitude for multi-tasking.
• Problem-solving and effective Inter-personal skills
